LoyerPro Homes helps people find a home to rent in Cameroon and helps owners, agents and agencies find tenants and guests. These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Please read them; by creating an account you accept them.
1. Who we are
LoyerPro Homes ("we") is operated by a company established in Cameroon, reachable at hello@loyerpro.com. LoyerPro Homes is part of the LoyerPro family of products alongside LoyerPro Gestion, the rental-management software.
2. What LoyerPro Homes is, and is not
LoyerPro Homes is a marketplace. Advertisers publish rental listings; seekers search, save, apply for a long-term home or request a short stay. We connect the two sides and give them tools to talk and to move a request along.
We are not a party to any lease, booking or payment between an advertiser and a seeker. We do not own, inspect or manage the homes advertised. Contracts, keys, deposits and rent are agreed and exchanged directly between you and the other person. We do not collect any money on anyone's behalf, and nobody from LoyerPro Homes will ever ask you to pay to apply, to visit or to "hold" a home.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give us accurate details. Your phone number is verified with a one-time code; advertisers also verify their e-mail address.
- One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your login.
- You can close your account at any time from your account page or by writing to us. Live listings and open requests are closed with it.
4. Advertisers
If you publish a listing you confirm that:
- you are the owner, or you have the owner's permission to let the home and to advertise it (agent, agency, family representative);
- the price, deposit, advance, charges, location, availability date and everything else in the listing are true and up to date, and the photos show this home;
- you will answer requests within a reasonable time, and mark the listing as rented when it is;
- you will not discriminate against applicants on grounds such as ethnicity, religion, sex, disability or family situation;
- you will not ask an applicant for any payment before they have visited the home and signed a lease.
Long-term listings stay live for 60 days. We remind you before they expire; you can republish with one tap. Short-stay listings stay live until you archive them. New advertisers' first listings are reviewed by a moderator before they go live; afterwards listings publish immediately and we review by sampling and on report.
5. Seekers
- Apply only for homes you genuinely want. Your name, phone number, occupation and message are sent to the advertiser when you apply, together with any documents you attach.
- Documents you attach (ID, pay slip, employer letter) must be yours and genuine. Attaching them is optional; it helps advertisers take you seriously.
- Never pay anyone before you have visited the home and signed a lease. If an advertiser asks you to, report the listing to us.
6. Not allowed
Fake or duplicate listings; homes that do not exist or are not available; photos taken from elsewhere; requesting or paying advance fees to "reserve" a home; harassment, threats or insults; collecting other users' data; automated scraping; bypassing verification or moderation; anything illegal in Cameroon or in your country of residence.
7. Moderation
We may edit, hide, unpublish or delete listings and messages, suspend or close accounts, and refuse service, in particular when these terms are broken, when we suspect fraud, or when a listing is reported. We try to explain our decisions and you can write to us to contest one.
8. Price
LoyerPro Homes is free for seekers, always. It is currently free for advertisers as well. If we introduce paid options for advertisers (for example a boosted or featured listing, or plans for agencies), they will be clearly marked, optional, and priced before you buy them. Nothing will become payable without your explicit order.
9. Your content
Photos, texts and other content you upload remain yours. You grant us a worldwide, free licence to store, resize, display and distribute them on LoyerPro Homes and in our communications about LoyerPro Homes (for example a featured listing on the home page or in a saved-search alert), for as long as the content is on the platform. You promise you have the right to grant this licence.
10. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep LoyerPro Homes available, accurate and safe, but we provide it "as is". We are not responsible for the content of listings and applications, for the behaviour of advertisers or seekers, for the condition of a home, or for any agreement or payment between users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health.
11. Changes
We may update these terms, for example when we add features. We announce material changes on the platform and by notification at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using LoyerPro Homes after that, the new terms apply.
12. Law and disputes
Cameroonian law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you usually live still protect you. We first try to settle any disagreement amicably; failing that, the competent courts of the operator's registered office in Cameroon decide.
